This policy explains what Govt Scheme Help, operated by Govt Scheme Help, collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
- Account details. If you create an account: your email address, an optional name, and a hashed form of your password. We never store your password itself.
- Alert subscriptions. The email address you give us, the state and language you chose, and which schemes you asked to hear about.
- Forum submissions. Whatever you type into the discussion form, which may include your name, mobile number, address and any file you attach. Please do not attach documents containing information you would not want a support agent to read.
- Contact messages. The subject, message, and any file or audio you send.
- Comments. The name, email address and comment text you submit. Your name and comment are shown publicly; your email address is not.
- Server logs. Ordinary web server records such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
Cookies
We set a session cookie so that signing in works, and a language cookie that remembers which interface language you picked. Neither is used for tracking or sold to anyone.
Third-party advertising cookies
This site carries advertising. Advertising networks and their partners may set their own cookies or similar identifiers in your browser, and may use them to show you advertisements based on your visits to this and other websites. We do not control those cookies and do not receive the data they gather. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.
Deleting your data
If you have an account, you can delete it yourself at any time from your account settings. Deleting your account removes your saved schemes and detaches your name from anything you posted. If you do not have an account and want something removed, write to support@govtschemehelp.com and tell us what to look for.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
